Job Title
Specialist Family Violence Practitioner – Full‑time, ongoing.
Salary and Benefits- Level 5 SCHADS Award – $100,783 per annum plus superannuation and NFP salary packaging

About the Role- Provide interventions and short‑term case management to survivors of family violence, including children.
- Promote and deliver person‑centred, strengths‑based approaches that preserve diversity, equality, choice and client participation.
- Apply an in‑depth understanding of the gendered nature of family violence, intersectionality, and dynamics across relationships.
- Work within the Multi‑Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM), Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme (FVISS), Child Information Sharing Scheme (CISS) and other relevant frameworks and guidelines to manage risk and hold perpetrators accountable.
- Advocate for survivors and collaborate with local, regional and statewide services.
- Participate in an after‑hours on‑call roster for crisis response.
- Support clients in refuge and emergency accommodation.
- Bachelor‑level qualification in Social Work or an equivalent qualification meeting the 7 Equivalency Principles required for specialist family violence practitioners.
- Experience in family violence crisis intervention and case management.
- Ability to apply theory to practice when responding to the needs of survivors, including children.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, trauma‑informed care and family violence frameworks.
- Capacity to work in crisis‑driven environments while managing a complex caseload.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Willingness to participate in the enhanced after‑hours crisis response on‑call roster.
