Activity Director Full-Time Du Quoin Nursing & Rehabilitation Du Quoin, Illinois Bring Joy to Every Day Du Quoin Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and creative Activity Director to lead our activities program and make every day meaningful for our residents. If you enjoy planning engaging events, building relationships, and creating opportunities for fun, laughter, and connection, we'd love to have you on our team.

Compensation $16.00–$17.50 per hour (Based on Experience)

VacationPLAWASupportive Leadership Team Opportunities for Growth and Advancement Schedule Full -Time Occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays may be required for special events and resident activities.
Responsibilities Plan, organize, and lead engaging daily activities for residents.
Coordinate holiday celebrations, entertainment, special events, and community outings.
Encourage resident participation while promoting socialization and emotional well-being.
Complete activity calendars, assessments, and required documentation.
Collaborate with other departments to provide meaningful resident-centered programming.
Maintain activity supplies and ensure programs meet state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
36-Hour Basic Activity Director Orientation Course preferred (training assistance available if needed)
Previous experience in long-term care or senior activities is preferred but not required.
Creative, organized, and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.
Compassionate attitude and a genuine passion for improving residents' quality of life.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
