Position: MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT with Security Clearance
Location: Scott Air Force Base

Duties
* Assisting in management analysis functions, including interpreting regulations and processing personnel management actions (e.g., position structure changes).
* Reviewing and initiating correspondence pertaining to administrative services to verify conformance with established regulations and formatting procedures.
* Gathering and synthesizing data to assist higher-graded personnel in preparing statistical reports, diagrams, or presentations for management.
* Maintaining control records for incoming correspondence and monitoring the progress of administrative actions to ensure timely completion. Requirements Conditions of employment

* This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

* Time after Competitive Appointment:
Candidates must have served 3 months after latest competitive appointment in the Federal service.
* Obtain/Maintain Financial Management Certification
* Must be able to obtain/maintain security clearance
* This position requires an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, upon appointment and may be required to file annually. Qualifications In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Specialized experience is defined as:
Assisting with administrative management functions such as processing personnel actions, reviewing administrative correspondence for regulatory compliance, and gathering or maintaining data for management or program records. Time-in-Grade:
Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-5 or higher grade in Federal Service. You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
