Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of K-12 students as a school psychologist in a collaborative, forward-thinking educational environment. This contract role near Hampton, VA, runs from August 24th through June 4th, catering to a diverse student population across 1-2 school sites. What We're Looking For:

• Current, active Virginia School Psychologist license
• Experience working with K-12 age groups
• Adaptable to both in-person and hybrid work environments
• Strong communication, consultation, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to culturally responsive, student-centered practices
• Ability to contribute positively within multidisciplinary teams
• Previous experience in school settings preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete psycho educational assessments for students in grades K-12
• Provide direct counseling and consultation services
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop effective interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility conferences, and student support teams
• Maintain thorough documentation and case records in compliance with district standards
• Assist with crisis intervention and planning as needed
• Contribute to the overall well-being and success of each student
