We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle Developer to join our IT team at the Global Support Center in Rosemont, IL. In this key role you will report to the Director of Business Solutions, developing customizations and extensions for Oracle E‑Business Suite and other enterprise applications. You will collaborate with business stakeholders in a quality‑focused environment to design and deliver reliable, high‑value solutions that meet critical end‑user needs.

• Perform full life‑cycle development of software customizations and extensions in an Oracle E‑Business Suite environment.
• Work with business users to develop software requirements.
• Build software using various technologies.
• Deploy and support software in a production environment.
• Participate in ongoing software development process improvement.
• Ensure work is built according to standards and processes.
• Participate in the creation and ongoing refinement of standards and processes.
• Provide high‑quality customer service to business users.
• Provide continuous production support on Oracle E‑Business Suite and other integrated third‑party applications as needed.
• Strive for continuous improvement of business processes and system functionality.
• Create documentation including MD70, implementation guides, and code standards for third‑party support.
• Own the development of technical code specifications.
• Take part in IT functional unit testing and integration testing.
• Help troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues.
• Assume additional project responsibilities as assigned.
• Make recommendations on priorities, design changes, improvements, and problem resolutions.
• Develop functional change enhancement requests within Oracle modules.
• Weekend and evening support may be required as needed.

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in Oracle E‑Business Suite (r12/r12.2.10) development.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle SQL (DDL/DML/complex queries), Oracle Reports, Oracle E‑Business Suite AOL, XML, BI Publisher, Workflow, UNIX scripting, SQL tuning, and Oracle Forms.
• Familiarity with functional business processes and the ability to translate them into software requirements.
• Experience with Java and OAF is a plus.
• Bonus:
  Experience building REST APIs, scripting languages, and working with XML/JSON message formats.
• Experience collaborating with third‑party and offshore supplemental development resources.
• Self‑starter with the ability to work effectively independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in English with proficient written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong ability to communicate and review technical knowledge, problems, and solutions effectively with both IT peers and business partners/end users.
• Understands and supports the department’s mission and vision.
• Effectively uses teamwork skills to collaborate on alternative approaches and contribute positively to a high‑morale, high‑performance team culture.
• Maintains a positive attitude when working with end users.
• Four‑year bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
