Assistant Swim Lesson Coordinator

Overview

Under the direct supervision of the Swim Lesson Coordinator, the Assistant Swim Lesson Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the planning, organization, and implementation of the learn-to-swim program.

• Participate in the implementation of the learn-to-swim program.
• Support assigning, reviewing work and ensuring quality standards.
• Is responsible for training, and developing, and reviewing performance of staff.
• Prepare and maintain required records and reports.
• Organize all pre-season training and weekly in-service training.
• Maintain equipment and material inventory.
• Demonstrate and support District customer service standards.

• Respond to all customer comments and inquiries in a timely fashion.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to maintain a high level of readiness and preparedness in handling emergency situations.
• Ability to display professionalism with participants.
• Ability to address complaints and resolve concerns.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in aquatics or teaching, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Subject to outside environmental conditions.
• Subject to modified/flexible work schedules.
• Ability to lift, carry, and/or move objects weighing ≤ 30 lbs on a weekly basis. Lifting assistance is required when lifting > 30 lbs.
• Regular onsite attendance is an essential function of this position.

Full Salary Range: $16.00/hr-$20.00/hr
