Job Goal:
To assist each participating student to achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and collaboration, and an increased level of self-esteem

Performance Responsibilities
  • Coach participants in the skills necessary to be successful in the sport or activity involved.
  • Plan and schedule regular practices and/or meetings.
  • Work closely with the Athletic Director or Principal to identify equipment, supplies, and uniforms as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with participants and parents.
  • Ensure the safety of participants by following accepted guidelines for participation and inspecting the facility being used for any potential safety issues.
  • Maintain any records and paperwork as required by the sport or activity.
  • Implement processes to ensure participants are academically eligible to participate in the sport or activity.
  • Enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior by participants at all times and implements consequences as needed that are consistent with school policy and practice.
  • Promote student participation in summer sports or activities to enhance skill development.
  • Maintain professionalism at all times when representing the school.
  • Travel with team players on bus to away games (Coach or Assistant Coach).
  • Supervise team players during home and away games (Coach or Assistant Coach). $1250 stipend for the season
