What You'll Be Doing
- Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials across the site
- Perform pre- and post-shift inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and team members to coordinate operations
- Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safe navigation in high-traffic and active work areas
- Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and responsibly in an industrial setting
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and collaborate with a team
- Effective communication skills and situational awareness in dynamic environments
- Capability to perform routine equipment checks and identify potential maintenance needs
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
- $28.16 per hour
