On Call Transfer Driver

Job Purpose:

The Transfer Driver plays a vital role in our operations, responsible for transporting trucks between branches or to customers as needed, keeping commitments to efficiency and reliability, while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols.

Shift: On Call (hours range 7:00am to 5:30pm).

• Shuttle trucks from Branch to Branch or Branch to Customer, ensuring timely and reliable transportation.
• Follow all DOT regulations, prioritizing safety and compliance.
• Perform pre‑trip truck inspections and engage in all assigned learning modules.
• Troubleshoot traffic flow and road conditions to ensure timely delivery.
• Complete all other duties as assigned, including any additional responsibilities as needed.
• Adapt to evolving needs of the organization.

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 5‑year driving history.
• At least 25 years old.
• Ability to adhere to safe driving guidelines.
• Ability to perform all tasks safely, following all safety rules and guidelines.
• Ability to work safely and well with others.
• Dependable and reliable attendance required.
