Position Description

Ryder is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This position offers competitive weekly pay, great benefits, and a fulfilling career in driving.

$1630 per Week Average
- Top Earners can earn over $2000. Ryder Drivers receive weekly pay!

• Hours:
  
  50 or more hours per week
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.60 per mile with approximately 2000 miles per week
• Stop Pay: $26.00 per stop with around 15 stops per week
• Per Diem: $40.00 per night with 1-2 nights per week
• Overnight accommodation provided in Ryder Booked Hotels
• Paid training included

• Shift Start: AM or PM options available
• Sign-On Bonus: $1500 after 30 days and another $1500 after 90 days

• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Must pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check
• Complete a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Appropriate CDL and endorsements required for the position
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle is necessary:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years,
  OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years,
  OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety
• Understanding of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures

Some positions may require additional screenings including employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and/or background checks as per customer requirements.

• Adhere to federal/state laws, regulations, and company standards
• Identify and resolve safety hazards proactively
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/Unload freight as required or assist in the process
• Perform other duties as assigned
