Join Our Team as a Grain Scale Operator!

Do you enjoy working with customers, staying organized, and being part of the agriculture industry? We're looking for a dependable and customer-focused Grain Scale Operator to join our team!

In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, helping ensure grain is accurately weighed, graded, documented, and directed throughout our facility. If you have strong attention to detail, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do
  • Weigh inbound and outbound grain trucks and issue scale tickets.
  • Collect grain samples and perform grading tests as required.
  • Record grades, weights, and other grain information accurately.
  • Direct truck traffic to appropriate unloading and loading locations.
  • Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist in resolving customer concerns.
  • Maintain accurate grain records and scale ticket information.
  • Stay informed on grain contracts, marketing opportunities, and customer resources.
  • Support a safe and efficient work environment.
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor.

Work Environment
