Class A Driver - Regional NO WEEKENDS

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Gilberts, IL. The role offers weekly guaranteed pay of $1,500, solo miles pay at $0.60 per mile with 2,000 miles per week, and solo stops pay at $25.25 per stop with 12 stops per week. Paid training is provided and the schedule is Monday through Friday with no weekends.

• Weekly Guarantee: $1,500
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.60 per mile (2,000 miles per week)
• Solo Stops Pay: $25.25 per stop (12 stops per week)
• Per Diem Pay: $51.50 per night (2‑3 nights per week)

• Deliver SOLOTo: WI, IL, MI, IN, OH, PA, KY, and TN

  Regional;
  Home Weekends
• Tractor Type:
  Sleeper/Day Cab & occasional 26' straight truck
• Trailer Type:
  Dry Van
• Equipment: pallet jack, appliance handcarts, and lift gate
• Ryder will train on all equipment needed for success
• Freight: touch – high end appliances

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from the last 3 years)
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A verifiable experience: 9 months within past 3 years, OR 2 years within last 5 years, OR 5 years within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
