Central Stone Company has a full-time position available for an experienced Haul Truck (Off-Road Truck) Driver at our Carthage, IL location.

Job Overview

This position will support quarry operations and will not require short or long-haul driving. You’ll be home every night, giving you a great work-life balance. This is a Teamster position with Local 627.

Qualifications

Safety-Focused
Strong mechanical aptitude
Experience performing equipment maintenance
Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions
Self-motivated with a solid work ethic

Major Haul Truck Driver

Responsibilities include:

Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHA
Operate and monitor all equipment and production area safely and efficiently
Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and/or clean equipment as needed
Communicate with plant management team on all safety, maintenance, and production needs
Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
