Bus Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to operate buses for our transportation services. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and timely transport of passengers to their destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and adherence to traffic regulations.

• Operate buses in a safe and efficient manner, following designated routes and schedules.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring the safety of all individuals, particularly those with disabilities.
• Maintain a clean and organized bus interior for passenger comfort.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
• Report any mechanical issues or incidents to the appropriate authorities promptly.
• Keep accurate records of daily operations, including mileage, fuel usage, and passenger counts.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and company policies.
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required to maintain knowledge of safety protocols and operational procedures.

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar transportation role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Physical capability to assist passengers and perform necessary tasks related to the operation of the bus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
