Work Schedule:

M-Th 10-hr. day shift

CEFS Economic Opportunity Corporation is looking for a caring, dependable Preschool Bus Driver to join our Head Start team. In this important role, you will help provide preschool‑aged children with safe, reliable transportation while creating a positive and welcoming experience for children and families each day. The Preschool Bus Driver works closely with classroom staff and families to support a safe, respectful, and child‑centered program environment.

This position is a great fit for someone who values safety, enjoys working around children and families, and takes pride in being punctual, professional, and dependable. Key responsibilities include safely operating the bus, following transportation policies and applicable regulations, maintaining required records, and building positive working relationships with children, parents, and co‑workers.

This is a full‑time school‑year position with benefits including 403(b) retirement plan, dental, health, vision insurance, paid holidays, and paid sick and flex time.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 21 years old, and meet all required pre‑employment and ongoing health, background check, and testing requirements. Candidates must be able to obtain a school bus driver eligibility receipt and/or have a CDL with school bus and passenger endorsements.
