Vehicle Unloader

Pay: $19.98 per hour

Schedule: 4 days on, 3 off;
Day Shift

Location: Elwood, IL

In this position, you will carefully drive newly manufactured vehicles off railcars and move them to assigned parking locations. This is an active, outdoor position for someone who enjoys being on the move, working as part of a team, and handling a variety of new vehicles. You will have an active role where your work directly supports automotive and rail operations.

The position offers a consistent schedule, outdoor work, and the opportunity to build experience and pursue future advancement within the company.

What will you do?

• Enter railcars and safely drive vehicles off the railcars
• Move vehicles to designated locations throughout the facility
• Follow established traffic patterns and parking procedures
• Inspect your work area and report vehicle damage or safety concerns
• Work closely with team members to keep vehicles moving safely and efficiently
• Follow all company, customer, and site safety requirements
• Work outdoors throughout the year in changing weather condition

Requirements

• Able to climb a ladder up to 20 feet
• Able to work outside all year long
• Possess valid Driver's License
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
