RMS is hiring dependable CDL drivers with a Passenger Endorsement to provide safe, reliable public transportation to our local community. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring successful completion of DOT screenings; some routes carry minimum-age and insurance-related requirements.

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport clients to scheduled appointments
• Assist passengers boarding/exiting and operate wheelchair lifts
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections per company policy
• Maintain accurate trip and mileage records
• Communicate with dispatch and management as needed
• Keep vehicles clean and represent RMS professionally

• Valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement(if you do not have your P-endorsement, we will sponsor your training!)
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to pass DOT drug screen, physical, and background check
• Must be at least 21 (insurance requirement)
• Preferred: transportation/customer service experience, experience assisting passengers with mobility needs, CPR/First Aid certification

$21.00/hour, plus a $500 sign-on bonus

• Employer Sponsored P-Endorsement training (Must hold CDL for at least 14 days.)
• Safety Incentive Program (SIP): up to 8% annual incentive opportunity (safety performance + year-end review, combined)
• Annual cost-of-living adjustment (3% proposed for July, pending final approval)
• Year-End Christmas Bonus (amount TBD)
• Blue Cross health insurance for full-time employees
• PTO: accrues 0.5 hr per hour worked, capped at 40 hours
• Sick time: accrues 1.5 hrs per 40 hours worked
• 1 additional week of vacation at 5 years of service

• Full-time = 30+ hrs/week; part-time = 20 hrs/week. Typical shifts run 8–10 hours
• Routes may be set daily routes or demand-response, and can vary with service needs
• Frequent entering/exiting vehicles; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist passengers; outdoor exposure
• Onboarding and training required before assignment; must comply with RMS policies and uniform standards
