this position will contribute to providing a safe transportation system that ensures the mobility of people & goods, enhances economic prosperity, and preserves the quality of our environment and communities. This is a learning and mentoring internship where you will gain knowledge of the fdot transportation system, department processes, safety initiatives, and more.

The office of safety was established in district 5 (central florida) in june 2021; with a renewed focus on safety and a goal to get to zero fatalities and serious injuries on our roadways.

as a member of the fdot office of safety team you will contribute to providing a safe transportation system that ensures the mobility of people & goods, enhances economic prosperity, and preserves the quality of our environment and communities.
