Summary

This role provides support to the Driver Experience, Driver Development, Driver Qualification, and HR teams in on‑boarding new drivers across multiple terminals. The Orientation Specialist is responsible for assisting with all orientation documentation for Safety and Human Resources.

What You’ll Do

Efficiently and effectively process drivers attending orientation. Drivers must be processed through Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and U.S. Xpress policy to ensure a quick and effective hiring process.

Verify and scan all information on driver’s licenses, permanent residence cards, and social security cards. Clip all documents to driver files. This includes physical standards test, medical cards and physicals, chain of custody, and direct deposit forms.

Assist Medical, PST, and EFA technicians on site by coordinating/communicating information to drivers.

Assist drivers with correcting information on paperless applications and orientation documentation and resubmitting the applications for verification.

Assist Onboarding Compliance Specialists in obtaining additional safety documentation and information on driver applications.
