Position Summary

Homewerks Worldwide, LLC, a leading distributor of home improvement products, is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our Distribution Center Team. The Coordinator will report to the Distribution Support Leader and work closely with senior distribution leaders. Our office is located in Lake Bluff, IL, with warehouse locations in Lake Bluff and Libertyville, IL. We offer competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage inventory activities.
  • Partner with distribution leaders and cross‑functional supply chain partners to plan and manage inventory.
  • Inventory management activities may involve the following: inventory moves, reactive and proactive replenishments, cycle counting, identify, research, and fix inventory problems, new items, running change, returns, rebox.
  • Support outbound order audit program.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop associates assigned to inventory management activities.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by the ICQA Leader or other senior distribution leaders, which may include receiving, picking, and shipping.

Experience Required
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Previous experience determining labor rates, staff requirements, and forecasting production/project completion dates.
