Entry Level Warehouse - Metal Processor

Description & Responsibilities

Determine and meet all customers’ needs, providing friendly and efficient service, continually exceeding customers’ expectations. A Metal Processor demonstrates a basic understanding of the company’s process flow and some warehouse procedures. This role must address all procedural questions to their supervisor.

• Sorting material such as brass, copper, aluminum, etc
• Disassembling material such as machines and appliances
• Helping unload materials and weighing them on a scale
• Ability to take directions from management.
• Adaptability to new environments
• Any additional requirements asked by management

• Responsibilities primarily performed by standing / walking 90% of the time
• Sitting is required for the remaining 10% of the time
• Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
• Normal range of vision, depth perception and hearing is needed
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach above the shoulders is required
• The ability to work in both extreme heat and cold weather conditions is required

The ideal candidate for this position must have an open availability. Shift hours will be Monday through Friday from 6am to 2:30pm with the occasional Saturday. Shift hours could change in the future depending on business needs.
