Warehouse Manager

Location: University Park, IL

Salary: $ USD Annually - $ USD Annually

The Judge Group is seeking a Warehouse Manager for a fast-paced Food Service provider in IL.

• Direct all shipping and receiving operations in a multi-temperature facility.
• Teach, develop and coach team members regarding warehouse operations, including forklift driving certifications, equipment, processes, and technical knowledge of warehouse systems; implement inventory control measures and cycle counting.
• Evaluate daily shipment schedules and inventory levels while strategizing and prioritizing a daily work schedule to meet company and customer delivery requirements.
• Create and manage budget, variable expenses, productivity and cost per unit load.
• Lead the creation and execution of Food Safety Plans and Food Safety Fundamentals (HACCP, etc.).
• Supervise the creation, application, analysis and maintenance of quality and facility sanitation programs, while ensuring the integrity of implementation and sustainability.
• Communicate with Divisional and Plant personnel to ensure effective application and preservation of the Quality program.
• Supervise warehouse employees to ensure company procedures and policies are followed and issue disciplinary action as needed.
• Ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted in a way that adheres to all Divisional and Corporate Safety Policies.
• Maintain all standards within the warehouse relating to both OSHA and Inventory Control.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 8+ years warehouse supervisory experience
• Must know shipping and receiving, warehouse practices, procedures and regulations, and materials handling
• Must have sharp computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Must have ability to multitask and physical ability to work in a warehousing environment.
