2nd Shift Supervisor

US Foods is seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead warehouse operations in our fast-paced wholesale food service distribution center. You will oversee order picking, loading, and staging to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries for restaurant, healthcare, and hospitality customers. This role manages a frontline team on 2nd shift, driving safety, productivity, and quality while enforcing food safety and OSHA standards. You'll coach associates, optimize workflow, monitor KPIs, and support continuous improvement in a performance-driven, customer-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 2nd shift warehouse staff to meet productivity, accuracy, and service goals.
• Coordinate order picking, packing, loading, and staging to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Monitor and enforce food safety, OSHA, and company safety standards.
• Train, coach, and schedule team members to support performance and development.
• Track KPIs, report shift performance, and address operational issues in real time.
• Partner with transportation, inventory, and customer service to resolve order or delivery issues.
• Ensure proper use and care of material handling equipment and warehouse technology.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and standard operating procedures.
• Manage shift staffing levels, attendance, and basic employee relations issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment across all areas.
