Material Handler

Marathon Staffing is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support light industrial and warehouse operations for our clients. In this role, you will load, unload, move, and stage materials, parts, and finished goods using pallet jacks and other basic equipment. Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, labeling and organizing inventory, and performing simple quality and quantity checks. You'll follow written and verbal directions, adhere to all safety procedures, and help maintain clean, efficient work areas in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials using pallet jacks or similar equipment
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders per work instructions
• Label, sort, and organize inventory in designated storage areas
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure correct items and quantities
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow safety procedures
• Complete simple documentation or scans for inventory tracking
• Communicate with supervisors and team members on material needs
• Follow written and verbal instructions and production schedules
