Warehouse Loader

Carmi Wholesale Distributors, LLC (CWD) is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our warehouse team as a Loader
. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our customers receive accurate, damage-free deliveries by safely and efficiently loading outbound trailers.

Warehouse Loaders are responsible for building and loading customer orders onto delivery trailers while maintaining product integrity, safety standards, and loading accuracy. Team members work in a dynamic warehouse environment and contribute directly to customer satisfaction.

• Load customer orders onto delivery trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Properly secure loads to minimize product damage during transportation.
• Inspect pallets and products for quality and stability before loading.
• Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as authorized.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all food safety, warehouse safety, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, selectors, forklift operators, and drivers.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to:

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
• Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift.
• Work in varying temperature environments, including coolers and freezers when necessary.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
• Work safely around moving equipment and warehouse traffic.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, loading, shipping, or distribution experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
