Are you an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Technician looking for a long‑term role with excellent training and progression?
We are expanding our skilled engineering team and are seeking a motivated technician to join a well‑established workshop operation in Immingham.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position with a leading employer in the logistics and transport sector.
The Role:
HGV Technician
As an HGV Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining fleet safety and reliability. Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs, LGVs and trailers
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
Conducting MOT/ ADR preparation, inspections and safety checks
Ensuring all work meets DVSA standards and company guidelines
Completing workshop paperwork accurately and efficiently
Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant workshop environment
This role is ideal for technicians experienced in commercial vehicles, fleet maintenance, or heavy goods vehicle repairs.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification)
Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team
Excellent attention to detail and a safety‑first mindset
Class 1 or Class 2 licence (advantageous)
Full UK Driving Licence
