Welder

As a welder, you will be responsible for welding materials for new fabrication and repair of existing parts or structures.

• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Work from specifications, drawings, or prints to complete tasks.
• Perform basic repairs and fabrications without drawings.
• Use a variety of power and cutting tools to fabricate needed components.
• Work with various metals.
• Operate torch and plasma cutting equipment.
• Operate stick and MIG welding equipment.
• Complete all necessary paperwork related to production, timekeeping, or invoicing.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or EHS.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
