Job Description and Duties

Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) reduces each full‑time employee’s base salary by 3 percent and provides 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full‑time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period.

This is a limited‑term position that may be extended or become permanent.

Under the supervision of the Supervising Registered Nurse II/III, Correctional Facility (CF), the RN, CF organizes and provides necessary nursing care in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program requirements in a variety of correctional health care settings. The RN, CF collaborates with the health care team to ensure timely delivery of appropriate health care to patients and coordinates interdisciplinary communication to promote continuity of care.

The RN, CF is responsible for addressing the ongoing health care needs of patients and for promoting efficient and appropriate use of health care resources.
