Monday‑Friday 5:00 AM‑3:30 PM and Weekends as needed.
The Class‑A Truck Driver will serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner. In this role, you will be required to transfer company goods between our facilities, pick up orders from suppliers, and deliver goods to our customers in our company 53 ft truck, trailer, and box truck. We are looking for individuals who thrive in fast‑paced environments.
The ideal candidate will be hard‑working, punctual, dependable, self‑motivated, self‑managed, organized, flexible, and looking for a long‑term commitment to grow within a growing company.
- Transport finished goods and raw materials over land, to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Work with management to plan and meet delivery schedules.
- Document time spent driving and retain fuel receipts.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
- Collect and verify delivery instructions.
- Report defects, accidents, or violations.
- You can expect to handle packages from small envelopes to boxes ranging up to 80 pounds.
- You’ll either stand in one place for extended periods of time, and or will be walking often around the facility
- You should be willing and able to operate carts, dollies, hand trucks and other moving equipment to move large quantities of merchandise.
- Ability to reach, kneel, lift, stand, walk, and bend.
- You will be in and out of a refrigerated room with temperatures ranging between 0‑34 degrees.
- Ensure equipment is clean such as trailers, tractors, and bobtail truck
- Other duties as assigned or necessary.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Class‑A California driver license.
- Proven work experience as a truck driver.
- Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc).
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
- Extensive knowledge of applicable driving rules and regulations.
- No recent moving or driving violations.
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc).
- Experience with in the food and beverage transportation industry preferred.
- Experience driving Class‑A vehicles.
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Physical Requirements:
You must have good hearing, at least 20/40 vision with glasses or corrective lenses, and a 70‑degree field of vision in each eye. Drivers cannot be color‑blind. Truck drivers must have a strong sense of spatial relations to park their vehicles and negotiate tight spaces. - Communications
Skills:
All drivers must be able to read and speak English well enough to understand road signs, prepare reports, and communicate with law enforcement officers and the public.

Pay Range: $30.00‑$33.00/hour + benefits
