We are expanding our team and creating a new Full Charge Bookkeeper role to help us scale. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys numbers—someone who can maintain financial accuracy.
Position OverviewThe Full Charge Bookkeeper plays a key role in our financial operations, employee support, and organizational growth. This role handles day-to-day accounting functions, month-end close, billing, and financial reporting. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position that interacts with leadership, team members, clients, and vendors. Responsibilities include managing all data entry into our accounting system to maintain accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, bank reconciliations, and financial schedules.
- Maintain accurate general ledger coding across software, managed services, implementation work, support contracts, hardware, and grants.
- Prepare invoices for SaaS subscriptions, managed services, implementation projects, and support agreements.
- Track contract terms, renewals, add-ons, and changes; ensure correct revenue recognition under ASC 606.
- Prepare financial dashboards and assist with budgeting/forecasting.
- Manage accounts payable, vendor setup, W-9s, and 1099 filing.
- Assist with audit preparation and financial compliance.
- 3–7 years of accounting experience (SaaS, technology, or professional services preferred).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Proficiency with accounting software (Quick Books Enterprise).
- Intermediate to advanced Excel/Sheets skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience with ASC 606 for software and service contracts.
- Exposure to HRIS and payroll systems.
- Ability to improve processes, create checklists, and build structure.
- Familiarity with SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, renewals).
