85,900 - 95,000 NZD per year

Description Mō te tūranga | About the role
  • Lead and support procurement, tendering, and contract processes across ICM
  • Monitor contract performance and help minimise organisational risk
  • Keep our contract management systems and processes humming
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement and business processes
  • Collaborate across teams and stakeholders to deliver great outcomes
  • Someone who keeps work flowing smoothly and can pivot when new tasks or challenges arise
  • Skilled at building strong relationships and fostering a positive, solutions‑focused working dynamic
  • Calm under pressure – can handle a busy environment and tight deadlines
  • Confident communicator with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Proactive, curious, and always looking for better ways of doing things
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
  • 3–4+ years’ experience in procurement, contracts
  • Experience preparing and publishing procurement opportunities on GETS, ensuring processes align with government procurement requirements
  • Strong skills in Microsoft 365 and contract management systems
  • Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and working with tangata whenua
  • Desirable:
    Local government experience and procurement‑specific expertise
