Overview

We’re looking for a Paver Operator to join the Higgins Asphalt team in Hamilton. You will have good Asphalt knowledge and experience in operating Asphalt machinery.

Our Operators are proactive, safety-focused, and enjoy being part of an organisation where hard work is recognised and where they can build a long-term career - not just do a job.

Responsibilities
  • Operate asphalt machinery as part of Higgins Asphalt projects in Hamilton.
  • Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment for yourself, colleagues, and the public.
What you’ll bring to the role
  • Full clean New Zealand Driver’s License with WTR
  • Roading and Infrastructure experience
  • Strong focus on health and safety for yourself, your teammates, and the public
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to think for yourself
  • A high level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the role
  • Be reliable, honest and a flexible team player
