SENIOR HAIR STYLIST

Weddings, events and special occasions are very popular on Hamilton Island and of course everyone wants to look their best. We now have an opportunity for a qualified and versatile Senior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team of creative and talented professionals.

• Proficiency in creating a wide range of styles from everyday chic to formal elegance – specialising in weddings and events
• Ability to provide personalised consultations and create customised looks to ensure your clients vision is realised
• Extensive experience in both men’s and women’s haircutting and styling
• Confidence in executing advanced cutting, colouring and styling techniques
• Keeping the salon beautifully presented and ensuring sufficient stock of product are available at all times

You love what you do, are passionate about your career and enjoy helping people to look and feel their best for special occasions. You are versatile and know how to ask the right questions to ascertain exactly what your client’s desire. You're forever learning and always perfecting your craft and you see every client as a work of art and yourself as the artist.

• Be confident and competent in all areas of men’s and women’s hairdressing including colours, cuts, blow dry and formal styles
• Have a strong and thorough knowledge of all products used, treatments and services
• Ability to meet weekly and monthly KPI’s
• Certificate III in Hairdressing
• Show a commitment to maintaining a polished and professional appearance and workspace
• Certification and/or experience in Make-up would be highly desirable
