Our Hamilton branch is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Production Shift Manager who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and knows how to bring out the best in their team.

Role:
Production Shift Manager. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of your shift, ensuring roofing products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. You’ll be a hands‑on leader who sets the tone on the floor and keeps operations running smoothly. Hours are Monday to Friday, 5am–1.30pm, so afternoons and weekends are free.

As our Production Shift Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day‑to‑day running of your shift, ensuring our roofing products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. You’ll be a hands‑on leader who sets the tone on the floor and keeps operations running smoothly. Hours will be Monday to Friday, 5am-1.30pm so your afternoons and weekends are free!

• Lead, coach, and support a team of production operators
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure all H&S procedures are followed
• Manage workflow, staffing, and machine utilisation to meet production targets
• Monitor quality standards and champion continuous improvement
• Coordinate with maintenance, logistics, and planning teams to keep production on track
• Report on shift performance and contribute to operational planning
• Foster a positive, collaborative team environment

We’re looking for someone who combines operational know‑how with strong people leadership.

You will have:

• Gantry crane and F endorsement preferred
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial operations
• Proven leadership experience—ideally in a shift‑based environment
• A strong commitment to health & safety
• Solid problem‑solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Good communication skills and the confidence to lead from the front
• A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo
