* *** Job Summary
** This position is responsible for recruiting, training, and onboarding all volunteers to Boone Health. The position reports to the Executive Director of the Foundation. This position will coordinate with Boone managers to ensure that appropriate tasks are given to volunteers that are helpful to departments and meaningful to volunteers. This position will cross-train and serve as a back-up for the gift shop coordinator, since many of the volunteers work in it.
The position may also occasionally assist the Foundation at events, if necessary.
** Job Responsibilities
** Responsible for overseeing all aspects of volunteering:
* Recruiting and retaining volunteers to Boone Health.
* Work with managers to define roles and responsibilities of volunteers based on location.
* Onboarding process; interviewing, background checks, scheduling, communication with managers.
* Assign and train volunteers to the appropriate department based on interests and qualifications.
* Maintain accurate volunteer records which includes tracking volunteer hours, required reports such as annual flu vaccinations, annual mandatories and competencies, health statistics (as necessary) and background checks.
* Plan and coordinate yearly volunteer appreciation event and other events.
* Maintain positive interactions and relationships with volunteers and Boone Staff

*** Self-motivated
* Organized* Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
* Capability to work independently and with a team.
* Demonstrated leadership skills.
* Ability to work with volunteers in many age groups.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with volunteers and support staff.
* expand and grow current volunteer program.
** Minimum Qualifications
*** Degrees:
Associates, Degree
* Experience:
2-5 years
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Bachelor's Degree
* 5-10 years supervisory experience
** Work Shift
** Various Shifts (United States of America)
