Requirements:- Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
- Current RN license with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Minimum of two years of recent clinical experience.
- Maintain all required certifications as outlined in the scope of services for the assigned department.
- EPIC EMR experience is preferred.
- ADN required, BSN preferred.

Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Wage Range: $31.55-$45.43 per hour
About the Position:
Hamilton Memorial Hospital District (HMHD) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse. This full-time position offers a dynamic and rewarding role, providing essential care in a Critical Access Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
You will collaborate with a team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and coordinate care in the Emergency Department.
- Supervise nursing staff, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of all assigned patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support for the nursing team.
