Job Type: Per Diem / PRN

Pay: $40–$50/hour equivalent / Per-Visit Pay

Schedule: Flexible, as needed

Assisting Hands Home Care – Hamilton is looking for a dependable and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team on a per diem/PRN basis.

This is a flexible opportunity ideal for an experienced RN, including a retired or semi-retired nurse with an active NJ RN license
, looking for meaningful supplemental work without a set weekly schedule.

• Conduct initial in-home client assessments
• Develop and update client plans of care
• Complete periodic supervisory/reassessment visits
• Communicate with clients, families, caregivers, and agency management
• Assist with occasional caregiver orientation and quarterly training
• Complete required nursing documentation and quality-assurance activities

• Active and unrestricted New Jersey RN license
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Experience working with seniors preferred
• Home care, home health, geriatrics, rehabilitation, long-term care, or case management experience preferred
• Assessment and care-plan experience strongly preferred
• Dependable, organized, responsive, and comfortable working independently
• Flexibility to complete client assessments as needs arise

This is a per diem position with no guaranteed weekly hours
. Assignments are offered based on client needs and RN availability.

Compensation may be hourly or per visit depending on the assignment, including client assessments, supervisory visits, care-plan reviews, and occasional training.
