Chef/Cook/Kitchen Team Member

#### Job description

Chef / Cook / Kitchen Team Member Poulet & Porc | Chaar Northshore
221D Mac Arthur Avenue, Eat Street Northshore, Hamilton 4007

We're looking for a solid, reliable cook/chef to join our team.

We're a busy setup, but we've built a great team culture where everyone gets along, has a laugh and backs each other up. We take the food and service seriously, but we enjoy the work while we do it.

The role:

- Casual to start, minimum 30 hours a week
- Up to 40 hours on offer for the right person
- Real potential to move into a full-time role if it's a good fit both ways
- Prep shifts Wednesday & Thursday
- Must be available Friday, Saturday & Sunday We're after someone who wants to stick around and grow with us, not just pass through. It'd also suit someone studying commercial cookery who wants solid hands-on experience alongside their course.

What we're looking for:

- Strong work ethic and good energy during service
- Follows instructions and works efficiently
- Keeps busy and shows initiative
- Team-first attitude, no ego
- Passion for food and hospitality
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen organisation
- Stays calm when it gets busy Experience in Greek food, charcoal/grill or fryer sections is a bonus, but attitude and work ethic matter most.

What you can expect:

- A supportive, tight-knit team
- Fast-paced services at Eat Street
- Trusted to get on with the job
- Room to grow within the business

Please note we're unable to offer visa sponsorship, so please only apply if you have full working rights in Australia.

If this sounds like you, send your resume to with a quick message about yourself and your experience.
