Floor Merchandiser Shelly Bay MarketPlace

We are currently seeking a Floor Merchandiser for our Shelly Bay location. The Floor Merchandiser is responsible for stocking store shelves and ensuring that products are properly rotated, priced, dated, and well-presented for our customers.

This is a five-day work week, which includes Saturdays and Sundays. Overtime may be required around major public holidays and during quarterly inventory. While this position is primarily based at our Shelly Bay location, you may be required to work at other store locations based on business needs, so some flexibility is essential.

• Provide excellent customer service on the sales floor
• Monitor product inventory levels
• Check products received against invoices
• Create attractive sales floor displays and ensure products are prominently displayed
• Stock sales floor shelves with merchandise
• Rotate products and ensure there are no outdated or damaged items on the shelves
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelves and displays
• Ensure unit price labels are accurate and visible
• Develop and maintain knowledge of store products
• Collaborate with suppliers/vendors for product orders as instructed by the Store Manager
• Inform managers of items that need to be reordered
• Retrieve product from the warehouse or backroom as required
• Remove trash to the designated area
• Maintain price changes and assist with ticketing as needed

• Self-starter, able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dependable and reliable with good timekeeping
• Ability to understand and follow directions
• Ability to bend, stretch, and work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift boxes up to 60 lbs
• Ability to push/pull 4-wheel equipment loaded with product
• Experience using a case cutter to open boxes safely and appropriately
