Road Maintenance Labourer

Higgins are seeking a Road Maintenance Labourer / Cyclic Crew Member to join the team on the Waikato District Council northern road maintenance and renewals contract.

Based in Te Kauwhata, this contract covers a network of approximately 1200km of sealed & unsealed roads in North Waikato from Huntly to Pōkeno. You will be involved in the general maintenance, repair works, annual programmed works, pre‑seal repairs and additional works on this comprehensive roading network.

• Full Class 2 Driver's license required
• WTR (Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers) endorsement a bonus
• Previous experience in road maintenance is preferred
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and participate in an on‑call roster
• Experience with incident response is a plus
• Familiarity with RAMM is beneficial
• Reliable, honest, and a good team player
