Job Description
Pay Range: $35.00 - $45.00 / hour (Based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time Location: Base shop in Independence, MO (Servicing the Greater KC Metro)

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will keep our fleet of construction machinery and on‑road trucks running safely and efficiently. You will split your time between preventative maintenance in our Independence shop and responding to emergency field repairs across the KC metro.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and complex hydraulic systems.
- Document inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with vendors to source parts and manage your shop inventory.
- Travel to local jobsites in a provided service truck to troubleshoot disabled machinery.
- Experience: 3+ years repairing heavy construction equipment and diesel trucks.
- Skills: Strong proficiency with hydraulic and electrical diagnostics.
- License: A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
- Safety: Ability to handle heavy lifting and work safely in outdoor conditions. (OSHA 10‑Hour training).
