Software Engineer II

Hamilton Telecommunications is seeking to add a full-time Software Engineer II to an established team. This position is responsible for gathering user requirements, defining system functionality, and writing code in various languages. Develops and maintains applications for PC, web, mobile, and server platforms in support of multiple business lines. Activities will include requirements analysis, systems design, code writing, testing, implementing and documenting applications.

The work involves extensive interaction with IT, business area employees, and senior management.

• Android Studio (Java)
• MySQL / MSSQL

• This is a remote role with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts between 8am-5pm CST. This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, or New York.

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience serving as technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability and willingness to travel alone.

• The estimated base salary range for the Software Engineer II role based in the United States of America is: $95,000 - $110,000 annually. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
