Job Description

The Aftermarket Account Manager is the primary contact for customers seeking service and support for equipment. This role involves managing aftermarket service projects from start to finish, coordinating resources, supporting field service activities, and building strong customer relationships. The position combines project management, technical support, and account management to provide exceptional customer service and ensure accurate and efficient project completion.

Responsibilities

+ Create, document, and manage field and in-house service projects.

+ Coordinate service activities and provide timely project updates to both internal and external customers.

+ Collect, review, and submit field service documentation for invoicing.

+ Provide technical and service support to customers, distributors, and end users via phone and email.

+ Collect, analyze, and present service data, operating trends, and written reports.

+ Support field service technicians during onsite repairs by coordinating parts, technical information, customer communication, and logistics.

+ Review operating data, service history, alarm history, and machine performance to assist in diagnosing equipment failures and developing service recommendations.

+ Coordinate with Engineering, Parts, Sales, Accounting, Production, and Service departments to ensure customer requests are handled efficiently.

+ Prepare accurate parts and service quotations.

+ Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by serving as the primary point of contact throughout the service process.

+ Assist in resolving customer concerns while identifying opportunities to improve service and increase customer satisfaction.

+ Direct non-aftermarket requests to the appropriate internal departments.

+ Continuously develop expertise in equipment, products, and internal processes.

Essential Skills

+ Associates Degree in an Engineering Discipline

+ Customer service skills

+ Strong communication skills

+ Ability to troubleshoot technical issues for customers

+ Project management experience

+ Account management skills

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM at the Independence, KY site. It offers a great opportunity for an entry-level engineer to develop skills and grow within the organization. The role includes commission, along with strong benefits and a bonus structure. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Independence, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.46/hr.
