Senior Management Analyst; Investment Officer - Crs Unclassified

Candidate will assist Executive Director/CIO in managing the portfolio, conducting due diligence on managers, preparing materials for board review and coordinating communications with the plan’s investment partners.

Under general direction, this employee serves as support for the City of Cincinnati Retirement Division and mission of the Cincinnati Retirement System. The Senior Management Analyst (INVESTMENT OFFICER – CRS) works as part of a team to implement the best operational and risk management practices. The employee serves as direct support to the Retirement Director. Acting in the best interest of all participants and providing exceptional service to members, this role will serve and manage investment efforts across all asset classes with a degree of due diligence, data analysis, financial modeling, and investment evaluation such as private equity.

• Knowledge of investment principles
• Knowledge across various investment strategies (private equity, private credit, venture, secondaries, mezzanine, distressed, and real assets)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in interaction with external management consultants, advisors, and/or legal experts.
• Organization and management practices as applied to the development, analysis, and evaluation of programs, policies, and operational needs of the assigned area of responsibility.
