Mammography Technologist

Ohio Health is seeking a Senior Radiology Technologist - Mammography to deliver high-quality breast imaging within our compassionate, patient-centered care model. In this onsite role, you will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensure adherence to ACR/MQSA standards, and support patients with empathy and clear communication. You will collaborate with radiologists and care teams, mentor junior technologists, and participate in quality improvement and accreditation efforts, while benefiting from Ohio Health's inclusive culture and professional growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams following ACR and MQSA standards
• Position patients effectively and operate digital mammography equipment and PACS systems
• Verify orders, document patient history, and ensure accurate imaging protocols
• Educate and support patients with compassion, privacy, and cultural sensitivity
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and care teams to optimize imaging and workflow
• Maintain imaging equipment, perform quality control checks, and report issues promptly
• Adhere to radiation safety, infection prevention, and Ohio
• Health policies
• Assist with accreditation, audits, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technologists and students
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain credentials and skills
