We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated team at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab, the nation's largest providers of post-acute care. About the Role:As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide high-quality physical therapy services to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Conducting exercises, and activities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function
- Monitoring patients' progress and reporting any changes to the physical therapist
- Educating patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the healthcare team
- Assisting with patient evaluations and assessments
- Developing and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- Providing individualized and group therapy sessions
- Maintaining accurate records and reports

- Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
- Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
