The Nurse Midwife works as a leader, innovator and change agent in the pursuit of excellence in nursing practice and quality of patient care.
The role of the Nurse Midwife includes that of practitioner, educator, consultant and researcher. The Nurse Midwife is committed to evidence and research-based practice and incorporates evaluation, outcomes management and informatics into all aspects of their work.
QualificationsOhio Certificate of Authority as a Nurse Midwife as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing (COA)
Current CPR certification
