Assembly Technician

In this role, you will play a critical part in assembling components and products while ensuring accuracy, quality, and safety throughout the production process.

• Follow detailed verbal, written, and visual work instructions to complete assembly tasks accurately.
• Perform mechanical assembly and labeling of components, assemblies, and subassemblies.
• Assemble parts according to specifications, blueprints, and visual aids.
• Inspect products and components to verify quality standards and proper assembly.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and scanning equipment safely and effectively.
• Accurately record and report assembly activities through company systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Adhere to all company safety, quality, and security procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and work under the guidance of the Manufacturing Supervisor or Line Manager.
• Support additional production and operational tasks as needed.

• Experience with mechanical or production assembly.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized procedures.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 35 lbs.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with scanners, barcode systems, and electronic data entry.
• Experience working in a quality-focused production setting.

This position is based in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility where safety, quality, and teamwork are top priorities. Employees regularly use hand tools, power tools, and scanning equipment while following established safety and security guidelines.

Job Type & Location – This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Independence, KY.

Pay and Benefits – The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
