Day in the Life of an LPN/RN- Follow policies and procedures to correctly identify patients and administer medication per the medical provider's orders.
- Dispense daily and take‑home medication at the dosing window.
- Coordinate care with clinical and medical staff for continuity of patient care.
- Maintain and complete accurate patient documentation including assessing for impairment.
- Ensure medication count is accurate and completed daily.
- Follow compliance policies and procedures around documentation practices and expectations.
- Participate in nursing team meetings and cross‑treatment meetings.
- Connect with patients, offering true empathy and a listening ear to those struggling.
- Monday: 4:45am – 12:45pm
- Wednesday: 4:45am – 12:45pm
- Friday: 4:45am – 12:45pm
- Rotating Saturday: 4:45am – 8:45am
- Licensed Practical or Registered Nurse License issued in the state in which they will be practicing or a multi‑state compact status license.
- License in good standing, unencumbered, and active.
- Disciplinary actions documented on any license will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.
- 3+ years of nursing experience is preferred.
- Strong phlebotomy skills, experience drawing blood on collapsed veins is a plus.
- Active and current CPR or BLS certification is preferred.
- One‑on‑one care with a consistent schedule.
- No 12‑hour shifts or multiple shifts; never on call.
- Small nursing team; teams range from 2–12.
- Excellent training if you are new to this field.
