Landscape Technician

Carmel Landscapes is currently searching for self-motivated, high-caliber professional Landscape Technicians who take pride in their work, values teamwork and have an eye for remarkable craftsmanship! This is a skilled laborer position that will work closely with a foreman and management to perform landscape installations and ornamental plant maintenance, this is not a lawn care position. We're stewards of the land, creating practical, high-performing outdoor spaces.

• Full-time
• 1st shift (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) (floating winter shift)
• Overtime available

• Experience with mulch, plant, and ornamental bed installations
• Knowledge of proper planting and pruning techniques
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Familiarity with the safe handling and application of horticultural chemicals
• Certification from the National Association of Landscape Professionals or equivalent organizations
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

• Mulch, plant, and ornamental bed installations with an eye for timeless, tailored designs
• Pruning and plant care, following ANSI A300 industry's best practices
• Material logistics, ensuring seamless project execution
• Safe handling and application of horticultural chemicals as needed
• Maintaining a clean and safe outdoor work environment in various weather conditions
• Work independently and collaboratively to foster a positive team culture
• Perform tasks safely and efficiently, strictly following Carmel Landscapes' company policies and procedures under the supervision of a foreman or supervisor
